Cornwall, England

Last weekend we took the Mini down to Cornwall on the southwest coast of England. We stayed in Tintagel, near the old Tintagel Castle ruins on the Atlantic. It was rugged and windswept and also very beautiful. We also drove down to St. Ives, had dinner in Padstow, stopped at old pubs in Churchill and St. Kew, and saw an amazing sunset on our way to Lands End. Garett & Ryan enjoyed playing chess by the fire in our hotel - Camelot Castle.

Do you remember this nursery rhyme/riddle?

As I was going to St. Ives
I met a man with seven wives
Each wife had seven sacks
Each sack had seven cats
Each cat had seven kits
Kits, cats, sacks, wives
How many were going to St. Ives?

  2. I think one is the correct answer too, although Garett says the rhyme isn't clear. So it could be 2,801 if they were all headed in the same direction.
