Celebrating Naadam festival with Mongolians - Монголчуудтай Наадам тэмдэглэж байгаа нь

We celebrated Naadam festival with Mongolians on July 13rd and Naadam is the 3 sports' competition among the national level. 3 sports are archery, horse racing, and wrestling. Around 50 Mongolians came to celebrate the festival. Many other Mongolians were not able to come because they are celebrating the Naadam in UB, Mongolia. We had so much fun this day. Brian participated in archery and wrestling competition. It was held at the Big Marine Lake in St Croix, MN. Бид нар 7-р сарын 13-нд наадмаа энд байдаг 50 гаруй монголчуудтай тэмдэглэлээ. Брайн сур харваа болон бөхийн барилдаанд оролцлоо.

Ryan's Last Day of School

July is finally here and that means the end of the school year.  Traditionally, Prize Giving / Speech Day is held on the last day of school.  For the third year in a row, Ryan won the academic award for his class ("Attainment"). As usual, all of the boys who won prizes received a book containing a bookplate inscribed with their achievement.

After Prize Giving the Year 5 classes gathered for a picnic on the lawn in front of Kenwood House at Hampstead Heath.  It was a beautiful summer day - perfect for a celebration!

Hope you had a great 4th!  Ryan asserted his independence by only using American words on the 4th of July.  We could hear lots of fireworks last night until the rain came.

Today we went  to see the exhibition 50-s, 60-s, 70-s Toys at the History Center. Everyone had so much fun to see toys with the different eras. Khuslen loved to throw the soft balls, taking the different inside parts of the bison to scan it and learn about which body of the bison he is holding, and he also loved making the robot with paper. Of course, his daddy assembled the robot and Khuslen colored the robot. He also liked to put the old coins into the piggy bank at the history section.
